This work will result in a new preoperative 3D modelling service for endometriosis, aimed at significantly improving the surgical treatment of this pathology.<\/p>\n<p>Endometriosis is a chronic gynaecological disease affecting around 10-15% of the general female population of childbearing age. Treating it is a real challenge, and to date there is no cure. One option is surgery for so-called deep endometriosis, which invades neighbouring tissues or organs.
